Three-Dimensional Surface Chemistry
The 3D Surface Chemistry Technology maximizes the utilization of microscopic three-dimensional space by constructing a "polymer brush" layer on the gold substrate used for SPRi detection. Built on this brush-like polymer structure, the platform incorporates polyethylene glycol (PEG) side chains to minimize non-specific adsorption. These side chains also serve as linkers for immobilized molecules, granting them a high degree of three-dimensional freedom similar to that in a solution environment.
