Plexera to launch the PlexArray™ HT at SBS

Plexera will launch its flagship product, the PlexArray™ HT System, at the Society for Biomolecular Sciences 17th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida March 27-31 at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. Plexera® Bioscience restarts operations

Operations have resumed under Plexera® LLC, a Delaware LLC, in early 2009 after the successful acquisition of assets from Lumera Corp. of Bothell, Washington.

The application lab was initially located at The Institute of Systems Biology in conjunction with a renewed research partnership with Professor Leroy Hood’s group. In early 2010 Plexera® LLC leased space in Woodinville, which now supports our manufacturing and continuing engineering operations. During the second quarter 2010, Plexera® leased space in Beijing through an exclusive partnership with Gao Tong Biotechnology Company Ltd. That site now houses an additional applications laboratory along with engineering operations.

Plexera launches its next generation Surface Plasmon Resonance system. The PlexArray HT system

Investments in engineering and product development of the PlexArray™ system have been ongoing for 5 years. Plexera® LLC developed and refined its product to position the company to realize a next-generation commercialization event in late 2009. This event was called “Early Access Partnerships”. In the first half of 2010 the company entered into commercial agreements with EAP partners and completed 3 system installations.
